Cookie Policy

This policy lists every cookie and every storage item the SafeBets investor relations landing pages set, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It was written from the code that sets them, not from a template, so nothing appears here that we do not actually store. It does not cover safebets.world, which is a separate site with its own cookie notice.
You can review and change your choice whenever you like, including withdrawing consent you have already given. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as giving it.

What a cookie is here, and what else counts
"Cookie" is the common name, but the rules that matter cover any storing of information on your device or reading of information already stored there. That catches local storage and session storage exactly as it catches cookies, so this policy lists all three. Where an item is not literally a cookie the table says so.
Everything below is first party. We set it ourselves and read it ourselves. There is no third-party advertising tag on these pages, no session recorder, and no data broker. We do not sell personal information.
The three categories
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work and to remember the choice you made. These cannot be switched off, because switching off the record of your choice would mean asking you again on every single page.

Analytics

Marketing
Measures which advertisement brought you here, so we can tell which campaigns are worth running. Turning this category off stops these identifiers being stored on your device at all, and stops them being sent to us.

What we do not set
So that the absence is on the record as clearly as the presence: these pages set no
Google Analytics cookie, no Amplitude cookie, no LinkedIn Insight cookie, no Meta pixel,
no session-replay cookie, and no third-party advertising cookie of any kind. If you have
a _ga cookie in your browser from safebets.world, we read nothing from it
unless you have accepted analytics here, and we never set it.
Where your choice applies, and the defaults
The rules are not the same everywhere, so the defaults are not either. We resolve which rules apply from the network location of your request, on our server, and we resolve anything ambiguous to the stricter rule.
- The EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec. Nothing is stored on your device and no advertising identifier is collected until you accept. Both categories start switched off, and a pre-ticked box would not be a valid choice. If we cannot tell which Canadian province you are in, you get this treatment, because we cannot rule out Quebec.
- The United States, Canada outside Quebec, and elsewhere. Measurement runs from the first page view and both categories start switched on. You get a notice, and the control below is always available to turn either category off. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal automatically if your browser sends one, without you having to ask.
Whichever applies to you, your decision is recorded with the exact time in UTC, the version of this policy in force, and which set of rules was applied.
If you say no
We still count that a visit happened. That count carries no visitor id, no click id, no hashed address and no advertising parameters, so it cannot be traced to you or to any device. It exists so we can tell whether the money we spend on advertising produced traffic at all, which is a billing question rather than a profiling one.
If you had previously accepted and then withdraw, we delete the identifiers from your device at the moment you save the change. A withdrawal that leaves the identifiers sitting there would not be a withdrawal.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use private browsing.
Those controls are broader than ours and will affect other sites too. Deleting our
cookies also deletes evm_consent, which is the record of your choice, so we
will ask you again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or repurpose anything listed here we update this page, raise the policy version, and where the change requires it we ask you again. The version your consent was recorded under is stored with it, so a decision can always be matched to what it was a decision about.
